It's a good time for Joe the Opportunist. He's got his 15 minutes and he has to choose wisely. Some suggest a run for Congress. Maybe he could score his own talk show. Lately Joe's been courted as a country star? Politico reports that Joe is looking to record his first country music album.

Joe's new regular-guy publicity management company, suggests that "Wurzelbacher can sing and knocks around on guitar but is not an accomplished musician or songwriter." How ever will he compete?

And for all his newfound fame, fortune, and higher tax brackets, he can thank Barack the Wealth Spreader.

We'll start the playlist of potential covers Mr. Wurzelbacher might record:

  • Stand By Your Can
  • Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to Be Plumbers
  • Folsom Plunger Blues
  • El Pisser
  • Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Plumbin' on Your Mind)
  • Your Cheatin' Fart
  • O-ring Of Fire

Add your country hit in the comments below.
